Gene, what's the purpose of the following commit?

commit a4ee94b46035c81bed8d72a5a0f6dd14f065f434
Author: Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com>
Date:   Sat Jun 16 13:11:43 2012 -0400

    errno.h: Strip it of unused macros

    In preparation of klibc's strerror()

    Signed-off-by: Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com>

I'm concerned that if people don't have access to a full range of errno
values they're going to pick a value that they think is "close enough",
but which doesn't accurately reflect the error condition.

Is there a reason that the errno list needs to be stripped?
