[syslinux] boot from different partition

In my case the chainloading also won't work it seems, as I am using
squashfs as the second partition and syslinux doesn't seem to boot from the
squashfs (during chainloading). I think syslinux will boot only from fat
and ntfs. Please let me know if my understanding is correct.
