Great. That means that the DOS-based installer, SYSLINUX.COM, is not
giving you error messages when it is executed from Win98 and when
using the adequate command.

Now we need to take care of that blinking :).

Please edit SYSLINUX.CFG and change the above to:
DEFAULT vesamenu.c32
PROMPT 1

(in other words, change that into 2 separated lines)

Note: The additional "prompt 1 " line is for troubleshooting
purposes.

Please move those *.c32 from "O:\*.c32" into "O:\syslinux\*.c32".

Just for your information, that "HDT.C32" file is not from Syslinux
5.00. If you want to use the version of HDT included in the Syslinux
5.00 official archive, you need to copy the "libcom32gpl.c32" file
from the Syslinux 5.00 official archive in addition to the "hdt.c32"
file, both into the "O:\syslinux\" directory.

Please move the file "O:\SYSLINUX.CFG" into the directory
"O:\syslinux\" so it will be "O:\syslinux\SYSLINUX.CFG"

Note: In my instructions above, I am using mixed upper case with
lower case. In this opportunity, the upper/lower case is just for
clarity in this unformatted text. If Windows and/or DOS shows you
those files or those directories using a different upper/lower case
than what I wrote here, then please keep the same case as Windows
and/or DOS uses, disregarding the specific upper/lower case I wrote
here in this email. This is only in this particular email and in this
particular context.

Please perform the suggested changes, test and report back.

Thank you and Regards,
Ady.
