[syslinux] Problem with pxelinux 5.10 and memtest86+ 4.20

Deal developers,
I'd like to follow the thread
http://www.zytor.com/pipermail/syslinux/2013-April/019761.html
but change the subject to 'pxelinux 5.10 and memtest86+ 4.20' and 
provide more test cases.

The pxelinux before version 5, e.g. version 4.06, worked very well with 
memtest86+ 4.20, all my PXE client machines, including VMWare 
workstation 9, VirtualBox 4.2, and all the real machines here, like 
Lenovo Thinkpad t410.
However, after changing to pxelinux 5.10, with my pxelinux config:

label memtest
   MENU LABEL Memory test using Memtest86+
   kernel memtest86
========================

the client machines, VMWare workstation 9.02 and real machine, like 
Thinkpad t410, fail to boot into memtest. It just returns back to the 
pxelinux boot menu. However, for Virtualbox 4.2 client no such issue.

Besides, we found if I boot the machines mentioned in the above, with CD 
using _isolinux_ 5.10 and memtest86+ 4.20, all successfully boot into 
memtest.
