[syslinux] No rule to make target `efi32/com32/lib/memcmp.o', needed by `syslinux.so'.

And today I did encounter again

  make[3]: *** No rule to make target 'efi32/com32/lib/memcmp.o', needed by 'syslinux.so'.  Stop.


All what was changed was a `git pull`,  as far as I can tell.

What do to to follow development of Syslinux with "git"?

In other words: Should 
 git clone git://git.zytor.com/syslinux/syslinux.git
 cd syslinux
 make
 # wait for a change on the git repository
 git pull
 make
work?
