[syslinux] Unable to PXE boot (on new setup)

I'm not quite sure I understand your meaning of a deaf client or what your
recommending I do with a PCI-ID. When I think of a deaf client, I would
think that everything is being sent to the client correctly, but the client
just isn't working in and of itself.

Are you saying I need to reconfigure the client BIOS settings somehow using
something other than a MAC (though I'm not sure how that would be done)?
Also didn't understand the bit about an additional exception.

Sorry for all my confusion.
