Guess what the filter setting was? ;)

 tcpdump -ni eth0.230 -s0 -w hp380g9_efi_pxe.pcap ether src
c4:34:6b:b7:1b:cc or ether dst c4:34:6b:b7:1b:cc

So the DHCPACK packet should have been captured...
