If you get the "OK, booting the kernel", then the kernel was loaded
correctly by SYSLINUX. If you're using a 2.5 kernel, make sure that (a)
you compile in VT console and (b) pass "console=tty0" on the command
line; this should be the default but that is currently broken in the 2.5
series.
