[syslinux] Testing Syslinux on Mazza PT-5VMD

is the physical connection OK?
meaning: no bad floppydrive or (wrongly attached) cable?

BIOS boot sequence?
to mark this as a floppy-booting problem, it would be preferred if you 
boot from another device on the same system, and then try to access and read the floppy disk. That way you can be sure only booting from the drive fails, not the reading from it.

Which Syslinux version, and post syslinux.cfg
LDLINUX.SYS is the Syslinux main part, along with some special bootloader/bootloader mr H Peter Anvin created for his Syslinux project.
