Hi

As of the latest 5.3 release etherboot is pxe compatable.  Right now,
work is ongoing on enabling the drivers to work as UNDI compliant
drivers but that is not required for the majority of PXE usages
including pxelinux.

So, indeed you can use etherboot to boot a pxe image.  It works quite
nicely with PXELINUX.
