I found for the G4L project that the kernels would not work with the syslinux
if the were built with the no module option. But if I have the option selected,
and then make all the kernel configurations with the * or Y it then boots fine,
but there are no moduals on the CD, just the kernels. So, you might want to
try making sure that all the config options are set to Y or * , and have the
modual support selected.
