I modified my previous submission a bit to not make the opt struct so
big.  Also, I added a "nomap" arg to parallel "swap"/"noswap" args.
However, it uses malloc to support multiple map arguments, so I don't
know which version is best (The other version is in another thread
because I'm having delivery issues from this mailing list).
