[syslinux] Boot graphical display sequence

Actually, I've got a 640x480 splash screen.

It is displayed a few second (no syslinux message as I want), then a
grey screen and after, a black screen with an underscore blinking on the
top left corner.

Am I right if I suppose it is impossible to suppress both grey screen
and cursor blinking before the Plymouth theme image?

I will test the 1280x1024 Splash Screen soon :)
