[syslinux] Issue building Syslinux 5.01

Hi,
I tried to build SYSLINUX 5.1 again on Fedora core 13 PC. MASM was not
installed in this PC, so the build gave error. After installing MASM, the
build went further and didn't complete properly but gave some errors. But
the extlinux binary was built. What i found is that, the files i had
mentioned libinstaller/bootsect_bin.c \

the entire SYSLINUX. Now the extlinux binary is not running on my PC
because of GLIBC in compatibility. The Fedora Core 13 PC where i built
extlinux has (GNU libc) 2.12.2 where as my PC where i want to install
extlinux 5.1 has GLIBc version GNU libc) 2.5.1.

Now how to build the syslinux using GNU libc 2.5.1?
Should i downgrade the Fedora core 13 Libc to 2.5.1 or should build on
Fedora core which supports libc 2.5.1?
Please suggest.
