Please, next time reply to the public Syslinux Mailing List (simple 
plain text is preferred over html), and, please, avoid top-posting as 
much as possible.

Now, about the matter in question... Could you please post the exact 
links to the respective (wiki) pages you are referring to?

In the meantime, my _guess_ is that you are confusing the location of 
these files within the official distribution archives and/or packages 
and/or as found in your OS, with the "installation" (or "destination") 
location of these files when they need to be copied on the relevant EFI 
System Partition.

Answers (to be emailed to the public Syslinux Mailing List) to the 
questions I already posted (including the exact links) might help 
clarify your doubts, and perhaps we can improve the documentation 
posted in the respective wiki pages.
