Thank you for the detailed and clear relpy. Common users should be able 
to follow the instructions and the conditions in which they are valid.


Regarding the CHS terminology...

An example should be enough (Beware: this is not about actual physical 
hardware):

1440 KiB classic floppy:

Cylinders: 80
Heads: 2
Sectors_per_Track: 18

For this example, the concept of "sectors per head" could be 
interpreted as '18x80'.
