I also see this bug with v3.62. I also tried doing the same change as your previus patch to fix it, but with no luck
Why did the previus patch work at all? the only changes there were as far as I could see which segments stored where, and no changes to avoid using any memory segments that the prolient might use?

I updated the server with the mentioned maintenance CD to the latest available firmware.
The behavior is still the same (localboot does not work). For this test I used the new syslinux/pxelinux v3.62.
Please find attached the output of meminfo.c32.

Yes, this machine has a Broadcom chip. If this is of interest, I could also look up the PCI device information.
