  Since there I was some discussion about it I thought I would
  have a look at it. At the point when it couldn't find a scsi
  drive I gave up. My problem is that I have 4 scsi drives,
  2 ide drives and they are constantly being wiped out. The system
  is always on the scsi drives and moves about on a daily basis
  to other scsi drives. The ide's are only used for bulk storage
  and they too get moved about. I have no dos and no windows, just
  linux (or whatever you want to call it), so as far as I can tell
  I have to boot off a floppy or at least that is the simplest solution.
