Ok, I ran a search.  From what I read, DOM is "Disk on Module,"
essentially a flash drive with an IDE interface.  I think this
basically means you can install syslinux to it just as if it were an
ordinary everyday harddrive then.  Are you having any particular
problem in attempting to do this?
