[syslinux] MEMDISK not working on Thinkpads

That's the whole problem. It fails to work booting from USB on all 
Thinkpads I have tried with. PXE is no problem, USB is the key word here.

So this is clearly a USB + memdisk + (most) DOS floppies. Linux kernels 
mostly work fine (except older 2.0 and maybe 2.2 stuff). netbsd, openbsd 
and others had problems as well.
