[syslinux] please revert MENU CLEAR so to make it optional again

Hi Peter,

I don't know exactly what's the issue with vesamenu.c32 and not using 
"quiet vga=current". But based on my tests, I would tend to think 
that messing with so many other aspects of Syslinux, making several 
directives useless, having to add new directives to fix something 
that wasn't broken in the first place and breaking the previous 
behavior is probably not a good workaround just to solve some 
specific situation.

I'll be happy to test the next pre-release, and happier if the commit 
is reverted :).
